Do you look to a person for the validation of your beauty or do you look to yourself to find beautiful you?

I had a wise woman tell me that beauty is in the eye of the behold. Have you ever heard that statement? When I polled a few ladies about this statement, I got the following responses:

1. That only a person can determine what is beautiful to them or about someone
2. Another person determines your beauty
3. A person has to be beautiful to behold beauty
4. God is the holder and creator of all things and it is he that determines beauty which is everthing that he has created on earth.

I think God has created all of us to be beautiful you by way of physical attributes, spiritual gifts, the holy spirit, through our daily life purpose that brings beauty to a person, organization, family, social cause, or church family. Sometimes we forget to look beyond the physical attributes to find beauty that is "skin deep" and touches a life in a positive way. If you have a beautiful person in your life cherish them with the flowers they deserve while they are here to receive them.

I watch the media and listen to the woes of those I know, those whose pathways the Lord allows me to cross; and, I realize how blessed and thankful I am... most of all that the Lord always makes a way out of no way. Prosperity can be the success that is defined by an individual or group about a business, work, life, or spirituality.

What's in the word P R O S P E R I T Y? I am sure you can find many meanings for each letter.

Why don't you take the time to comment on what you can spell out of prosperity. Here's what I got out of it:

P- stands for personal insight about your God given vision for your life

R- stands for the right God given plan, the right partnerships, the right business opportunity

O- stands for optimistic, in spite of turn around or turn downs; you are bound to get a Yes

S- stands for the spirit of discernment to know what is a god given deal or just a deal

P- stands for your purpose as a christian, discover what it is, walk in in it, and watch it prosper

E- stands for equality and eternity, if you are drive by God then you should find this in prosperity

Yes, loved ones and the less fortune are on our hearts this holiday season; however, the consumption of goods at a bargain are in mind as well. Have you thought about creative gifts that come from your Natural N-Stnc?

The act of giving through N-Stnc Shopping is within you. Think about these N-Stnc Shopping Gifts as you shop this holiday:

1. Willingness to consume versus Ability to consume

• What are you willing to pay for a gift? Is it worth the cost?

• Is the price of a gift or total holiday shopping in the budget?

• Is the product worth the price? How long will it last? What is the quality of the product?

• Have you paid for your basic needs (i.e. utility expenses, mortgage, gas, food, etc.)?

• Are these gifts needs or wants for your loved ones?

• Are you consuming more than you have in weekly or monthly income?

• Can you pay cash for the gift, or is it by credit card with interest?

2. Comparative Pricing/Shopping

• Is it really a sale, or will tax bring it back to the original price?

• Is it better to shop at wholesale stores, consignment stores, or shop retail value in stores?

3. Store Discount Days

• Is there a Friday Club discount day?

• Is there a Senior Citizens discount day?

• Are military discounts honored at the store?

• Have you reached the frequent shopper or club discount amount?

• Do you have a membership/shopping card to receive discounts from the store?

4. Charity Organizations

• Thrift Stores offer very low cost items and reasonable products. Try to locate non-profit organizations in your area (i.e. Salvation Army, Goodwill, Angel Network Ministries, etc.)

• Try local church food and clothing closets, which are usually free to the less fortunate

5. Natural N-Stnc Gifts (creativity)

• Remember the reason for the season, Jesus, and give thanks for life

• Give the gift of laughter, which is medicine for the spirit

• Make a home-made gift basket with a variety of affordable gifts

• Say I love and thank you to someone

• Create a Christmas card using your computer software or simple use of paper and color pencils

• Give Hugs, Kisses, Forgiveness,and pray with each other

• Take family time to tell everyone why you are thankful for them as a gift

• Visit a Nursing Home and give away gifts to the elderly

• Volunteer at a "Soup Kitchen" or donate food to a charitable organization or family

• Get rid of too little clothes, coats, and shoes, by giving as a gift to family or a local shelter

• Make someones favorite dish, invite a college student or homeless person to dinner

• Give away basic needs items: tissue, soap, plates, paper towels, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, towels, linens, antiperspirant,etc.

• Provide a massage to a significant other or devoted time alone

• Provide house cleaning for someone who is ill or disabled

• Commit to exercise with someone for the year who wants to lose weight

• Give away coupons: weekend babysitter for someone, dinner for two, one family night per week or month, a night of poetry, a break from household cleaning for one week, etc.

He has positively impacted the lives of thousands of disadvantaged families and individuals. throughout the southeastern United States .

Through " NAM " & "CYR", Nigel continues to encourage today's generation to apply Biblical principles and civil morality to their everyday lifestyles, regardless of their culture, race, background, or ethnicity.

New Spirit

The Naturalist N-Stnc is a blog for those who are consumers of natural products (i.e. organic, botonicals, etc.), independent consultants, or thoses who consider themselves simply natural (naturalist) by instinct (n-stnc). Mother's Special Day

Happy Mother's Day!

Being a mother is a gift from God and a responsibility that came without any instructions, right? Of course, being a mother does not come with an instruction manual. Have you ever heard your mother say, "I did the best I knew how to do"? Sure you have heard this statement or some other statement from your mother. Hence, it is true that we model our parents (generational) parenting styles with our children; unless, we choose to learn or create a different parenting-style with our children.

What makes motherhood beautiful? I have a few thoughts about why the ability to give life to a child is so precious and worthy of this special day to celebrate you, Mother's.

1. You get 9 months to bond with the child before giving birth (i.e. feeling
them grow)
2. You get the joy and pain of experiencing childbirth & populating the
world
3. You were given the ability to give life to one of God's greatest
creations, Children
4. The joy of birthing another generation of you and your spouse
5. The privilege of child-rearing to produce productive citizens who make
contributions to the world (i.e. professionals, general labors, parents,
ministers, president/first lady)
6. The honor of becoming a grand-parent to see another generation of your
children, and so on

Let's take this day and everyday to celebrate the mother's who are still with us, to remember those who have past away, and pray for those who are away from their children.

I LOVE YOU to my mother for your love, support, spiritual guidance, nurturing, discipline, prayers, and words of wisdom to make me the woman I am today!

Blossom

Isn't it wonderful to watch the blossom of a flower! It is amazing to know that we can plant a seed, water it, nurture it; and, if we have the "green thumb" -watch it blossom into something beautiful.

Have you planted any seeds lately in someones life? Have you nurtured your Naturalist N-Stnc to blossom? Many people talk about what they would like to do in life or for a community (seed); but, rarely make a plan to nurture their Naturalist N-Stnc (idea) into a blooming flower. How can you make a flower blossom?

Here are a few "green thumb" suggestions:

• Make a list of things you want to blossom in your personal, financial, and spiritual life;

• Set realistic goals to plant those seeds (start) and remain "grounded" to them;

• Make a time-frame to "water" each of those seeds (goals) i.e. 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, etc.;

• Spend time daily with your target seeds (goals) to nurture (grow) them;

• Network with others that can help you blossom into a flower (success); and,

• If the flower withers that doesn't mean it's dead; nurture it or re-plant it (re-arrange goals) & it should replenish or blossom!

It is so wonderful to have such a blissful day set aside in the U.S. to celebrate the affection/love of couples around the world. Nevertheless, I must ask is Valentines Day only one day or every day of your life?

Have you thought about whether you show your affection to your intimate partner as if it would be the last time you would be in their presence. I wonder if all couples thought this way...would there be a decrease in divorce rates?, domestic violence?; and, perhaps an increase in birthrates, family vacations, and weddings. Love is truly a gift from God...cherish it and be open to receiving it from family, friends, intimate partners/spouses.
